Sunday Coffee

Another fabulous Sunday in Indianapolis - and a great ending to a fun weekend with friends and family.  Friday night was spent sipping cocktails and shopping at our Stella and Dot trunk show.  My sister Cari and I hosted the party and had a great time being with our girlfriends on a sunny, August evening.  If you are a habitual reader of mine, then you know about my love for this jewelry.  The pieces are so stunning and definitely fall into the Boldly Chic category.  


I also had a wonderful Sunday with my sisters, shopping and chatting about all the new things in our lives. It is great to have them close by again - and to share time doing things we all love to do!


Tonight will be spent watching the Emmy's and taking in the red carpet fashion!  For now, as I sip my Sunday Coffee...I have a few other things I am excited about too.  


Oohilove is a shopaholic's dream.  It is a couture spin on eBay and is so easy to use.  I will definitely be placing some bids this week.

There is one thing I say always inspires an event designer - fashion.  And, fall fashion is just one more thing I can't get off my mind lately.  Check out The Zoe Report's Top 20 Fall Trends in Fashion.  Love.

I am pretty excited about teaming up with the best Salon & Spa in Carmel - La Dolce.  They have great leadership and an even better community presence.  Check out this coming-soon charity event.

I read the latest issue of Event Solutions this afternoon and found some incredible styling ideas (and some unique concepts as well - including a PortaJane!?).  Here are the event tips that stood out:
1.  Entrances matter.
2.  Think Signature Pieces rather than Centerpieces.
3.  De-theme.
4.  Mixing and Matching is IN!
