Custom Stationery for the Modern Girl

You have heard me talk about this company many times on this blog, and you know she is my sister and good friend. So, to start off a new series, Bold Businesses, I wanted to begin with Cari at Interprintations!

What is your specialty?
We specialize in custom stationery pieces - from designer wedding invitations to reception table accents to custom notecards - we do it all!

What is your favorite part about your job?
The gratification of helping a bride and groom find the perfect stationery pieces for their big event!


What recent project have you worked on that screamed "unique"?
I recently worked with a bride from Pennsylvania who had an absolute love for water - her venue was even set on a lakeshore. We created a custom water ripple motif that was used throughout her programs, which fit right in with the setting of their venue. It was truly a unique and challenging request, and we are happy that we could help the bride & groom find that perfect stationery piece for their ceremony!


Where is your favorite place to relax and be inspired?
My studio, of course! It's quiet, serene and I'm surrounded by colorful inspiration and a kitty to keep me company.

Name an item that travels with you to every client consultation.
A pen! In order to come up with the perfect design, I need to find out as much as I can about them, as a couple. So, I always want to make sure I jot down everything I can during our initial session. I also bring a book of recent design samples, color swatches and a little something for the bride and groom.
