Meet Chef JJ's Backyard

I had the pleasure of visiting Chef JJ's Backyard today - and meeting the wonderful Staraya McKinstry.  This intimate space made me so excited that I couldn't stand the thought of NOT blogging about it!  Here were my favorite things:

• The aroma - you can't miss it when you step inside.  It smells like that warm, log burning, fall smell that we all love!

• The indoor/outdoor option.  I love it when you have the choice and can utilize one or both.

• The menu.  From hors d'oeuvres to dinner...local market ingredients are always a part of the fare.

• The view.  The view from the patio is spectacular and includes privacy and a backyard feel. (the view inside is pretty cool too!)

• The location.  Positioned right in the heart of Broadripple, but tucked away perfectly.

• The accommodating service.  They work to make sure each event is a success, and are always ready to work with clients to create their vision. 

To sum it up, this venue is perfect for so many different events! From company team-building to small

wedding ceremonies & receptions, it is a unique Indy resource.  Thank you Team JJ - I had a great time today!
