Sunday Coffee

It is my first Sunday Coffee of 2011!  I can't wait to get this year started with all my wonderful clients and friends.  I have been preparing for the two bridal shows that will take place in the next eight weeks - so my design switch has been turned all the way up lately.  And, with that in mind, I wanted to share my 5 Quick Tips for brides that plan to attend a bridal show in 2011.  


Tip 1:  Bring your camera.  There will be things you just don't want to forget!  If you have a phone with a camera, don't forget to charge it to the fullest!


Tip 2: Talk, talk and talk!  You won't be able to fully enjoy and benefit from the bridal show unless you engage with the vendors.  If you aren't an outgoing bride, bring a friend or family member who will speak up for you - and will ask the right questions.


Tip 3: Three's a crowd.  Just like when you are going dress shopping, try to keep your group small.  It is a little strange when a bride has a small parade following them to each booth at the show.


Tip 4:  Take advantage of the giveaways.  We are putting this show on to make your wedding planning process easier and more fun, and the giveaways are always fantastic.  So, why not stick around and see if you've won!?


Tip 5:  Create a "yes" bag.  Inside your bag, create a small bag to put the vendor information that you really love.  That way, when you get home you already have the "loved" and "not so much" already separated.  One less thing to try to remember!
