I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with this amazing local, husband-wife team - Eleven11. Hannah and Keon are two of the most genuine, authentic professionals I have met in the area - and I think their work speaks for itself. Here is a little bit more about this great Bold Business...
What sets ELEVEN11 STUDIO apart from other photographers in the area?
Photography is art. We are creative and unique in our perspective. Instead of wasting our time trying to be like other photographers, we’re focused on what differentiates us. You may love us or you may hate us… but our work is US. We like to think of our photoart as contemporary meets Anthropologie. But of course, our style is best expressed through our images, so we invite you to view our photoart at www.eleven11studio.com.
Photography is emotion. As a husband + wife team, our deep love for one another inspires us to capture intimate images of the bride + groom on their wedding day.
What is your favorite part about your job?
Keon: I love the fact that I can freeze moments throughout the day that portray the incredible emotion of the bride + groom. These memories are presented as works of art.
Hannah: I love spending time getting to know couples prior to their wedding. This means that on the wedding day, we are able to capture images that will hold incredible meaning for them for the rest of their lives!
What recent project or client have you worked on/with that screamed “unique”?
We photograph people as themselves - if you're a fun couple, our images scream "fun times"… if you are romantic, we want them to scream "passion". Since we work with so many different personalities, every wedding gallery comes out unique!
Where is your favorite place to relax and be inspired?
Our favorite place to relax + be inspired is our studio… the great outdoors! Both of us love nature, and as artists, we appreciate the great beauty that it holds! We prefer to do the large majority of our images outside simply because natural lighting is stunning. We also love Barnes & Noble… we spend hours there reading magazines and challenging our perspective on the world + art.
What do you both love to do when you are not behind the lens?
First and foremost, we love to spend time with our families… they are the most important people in the world to us! We both grew up overseas, so we love to travel the world, meet amazing people, and eat unique foods. Also up there on our list of favorite things to do is camping, biking and fishing. Keon loves to treasure hunt, but Hannah can’t claim to share that passion with him!
