What sets Molly Connor Photography apart from other photographers in the area?
I thrive on forming partnerships with my clients. It’s our story to tell together, and understanding that concept is the key to getting the pieces perfect. Our consultation is just the beginning of the partnership. During the time leading up to their event, I like to stay in communication so that we can share our brilliant ideas with one another. And, just prior to the event, I like to sit down over dinner and a glass of wine to discuss the fine details and make sure that the story will be unlike any other.
What is your favorite part about your job?
I love the fact that there are never two days when my job is the same. The best part about being a photographer is that I can find new inspiration each day with each new project. I love the energy that each client brings to an event and then being able to leverage that excitement to create a meaningful story is priceless.
What recent project or client have you worked on/with that screamed “unique”?
If I’m doing my job correctly, each event should scream unique. There are no two clients that are the same and it’s my job to dig deep and find out what makes them tick… and then find the best way to bring that out in their photographs!
Where is your favorite place to relax and be inspired?
My newest place for inspiration is Pinterest. I’m just getting my feet wet on this site, but it’s just the most amazing place for other creative people to share what inspires them. And what better way to find new ideas than to see what is getting my peers excited? I love it. http://pinterest.com/molconnor/
What do you love to do when you are not behind the lens?
When I’m not shooting, I love to drink wine with my girlfriends, spend time with my trusty hound dog, Lucy Jane, and look high and low for new inspiration! And if I can catch a quick nap here and there, life is good!
