2013 on the Brain!

Are you recently engaged or have just started to plan your 2013 wedding?  If so, this info is for you!  We are working with several couples to plan their 2013 nuptials already and we are excited to see the new trends that have popped up and styles will certainly be popular within the next year!

Fashion

Color! 

The new trend is ditching the white wedding gown to create a dramatic and different look.  Maggie Sottero’s Spring 2013 line features many soft, blush, romantic gowns.  Many brides are looking to break tradition with this style!

A Picturesque Back

Reem Acra’s 2013 line displays this trend beautifully with a very unique design on the back of the gown!

Natural Drama

Flowy, dreamy and not too fussy - but still glamorous...that is going to be huge on the scene at weddings in 2013!

Transformers

I thought this trend has vanished, but it’s back and actually very practical.  This style can create a dramatic look for the ceremony and can be transformed into a more practical and sleek version of the gown for the reception!

Monique Lhuillier created an overlay tulle skirt that can be removed into a sleek, lace, A-line dress.

White Weddings!

A complete white-color palette wedding was popular in 2012 and will still be around in 2013!  It exudes glamour and elegance - and tradition!

Blush is the new black!

Blush tones are around to stay in 2013.  Out with the black and in with something softer and more romantic.

Mint!

I love the chic and classic look that this color creates!  This popular will definitely be a hot request in 2013 - no matter where and how brides and grooms decide to tie it in.

Stripes!

This has been a big trend recently and will definitely stick in 2013!  The new style has been to have a basic stripe accompanied by an array of colors.

Flowers

       
Ombre

This can also be referred to as a tonal bouquet.   The ombre effect is created by working off of one color and mixing flowers with a variation of the same tone!  This idea is amazing when worked throughout your entire wedding day - and creates unforgettable decor.

Braids!

The braid is back and I’m loving every minute of it!  I'm sure you've seen the braid used in many hairstyles, but incorporating into bridal hair is becoming a reoccurring look!
