Their ceremony included all of the Greek Orthodox traditions and was held at the beautiful Holy Trinity in Carmel, Indiana.

During the planning, Emily and I worked closely with Stacy at Design Group to create a simple, elegant ceremony decor scheme. Emily loved the idea of bringing in trees (just like the Royal Wedding!) - so Stacy made it happen. The best part? The trees were planted at a family home following the wedding! What a great memory to have in your backyard!

Following their ceremony, guests tossed fresh rose petals as Emily and George drove off in a vintage car (complete with vintage head gear, worn by the groom!).

After taking some photos downtown, the reception was kicked off at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. The "Gracie Girl" cocktail was a huge hit - and was just one of the many personal details that were included that evening. Gracie is the name of the couple's pit bull! They have so much love for that little cutie and even made sure she got a photo with mom and dad before the day was over!

The reception was stunning and included shades of purple, silver and whites. From candelabras to fresh hydrangea - the room was inviting, elegant and lovely. Emily worked with Cari at Interprintations to include paperie that matched throughout the event - including custom table numbers, menus and a custom monogram for their illuminated gobo on the floor of the ballroom. The lighting, provided by the venue, was the perfect touch! Gor.geo.us.

George is Greek and there were loads of Greek family members in attendance. The couple wanted to be sure to include all those special, traditional wedding touches including special group dances!

I would be remiss if I didn't mention the tremendous help of Jen Barnette on wedding day as well. Because I am on maternity leave, I was unable to physically be there on wedding day. Jen, from Four Leaf Events, was able to see the day through and I know Emily and George were extremely happy she was there. Thank you, Jen!
