Sites to See

As our busy season is upon us, we have been lucky to get the time to visit some great venues!

Recently, I took a trip up to West Lafayette (Boiler-UP!) to take a peak at Purdue University’s event spaces.  Our awesome intern, Kaiti, and myself met with Elizabeth, the Sales Coordinator for Levy Restaurants at PU, who graciously showed us around Ross Ade Pavilion and Mackey Arena.  Ross Ade offers several different spaces, some of them with amazing views of the football field – very unique!

Mackey Arena has undergone a complete makeover – definitely a huge upgrade from what Lori and I saw when we attended PU!  With that construction, they’ve added several new event spaces.  The Spurgeon Club being one of the most unique rooms, with an upper floor overlooking the main event space.  The built in bar and the floor to ceiling Purdue logo with backlighting really makes this a great space for our Boilermaker Brides!

Here are some pictures of the Spurgeon Club during Construction and a few pics of the completed upper loft.

On the Indy side of things, Lori and I also recently visited the Indiana State Museum.   We’re excited to have a BCE wedding there this summer, so it was a great refresher to go through the space!  The museum has awesome views of the city and canal making this a great downtown venue!  The sky is truly the limit here!  Erica, the Social Event Planner, was so kind to show us around that day!

All the spaces we’ve recently visited are so versatile and gorgeous; we can’t wait to work in all these venues for future BCE events!

Boldly Yours,
Christine
