Intern Wrap Up from Cheyanne

Where did the summer go? I can’t believe my time is over in the BCE office. I’ve learned so many great things this summer from Lori and Christine. This internship gave me great experience in the wedding industry and professional experience as well. Not only did I learn a lot during my internship but I made some great friends. The Boldly Chic Events and Sara Ackermann Photography office is such a fun atmosphere. They all have such a passion for what they do and they have so much fun doing what they love. I’m sad to leave to go back to school but I am so excited to say that I will officially be returning next summer!

First...how amazing was my workspace?!

Here are a few of my favorite memories from this summer:

Favorite Event  Every wedding is different but I thoroughly enjoyed every one of them this summer. One of my favorites was Kelsie and Kirk's wedding at the Columbia Club on the Circle. There was so much energy and southern charm at the reception, it was such a perfect celebration of this sweet couple’s love.

My Birthday! Everyone in the office made me feel so special on my birthday! They decorated my chair with balloons, brought in DELICIOUS cupcakes and champagne and even took me out for lunch and drinks!

Bella Bridesmaid Event Both Boldly Chic Team and Sara Ackermann Photography team were invited to the open house of Bella Bridesmaid’s new location! After work all us girls went out to Broadripple to grab drinks before the event and then were invited into Bella’s where I met a lot of great people in the industry here in Indianapolis. It was a great event and we had such a great time!

Pool Party! We ended the summer right with a fun day in the sun. Such a relaxing day of soaking up some rays, swim races and drinks! You can’t expect wedding professionals to throw a party and not do it all out! Thanks Lori and Sara for such a great day!

Indy Style Not only was this fun to watch Boldly Chic Events featured on Indy Style but I loved helping put everything together for the feature.

I learned so much this summer in the wedding and event planning industry and I had so much fun along the way! One of my favorite parts about this summer was meeting couples and their families. At the end of the night family and friends would come up to our team, they were always so genuine and appreciative of BCE. I loved being a part of this team and I am so excited to return next summer!

Boldly Yours,
Cheyanne
