We wanted to share this Bold Business with our friends and clients...so here is the inside scoop:
What sets The Siners apart from other photographers in the area?
We make an effort to get to know each and every one of our Bride and Grooms. We are not the photographers that just show up to shoot your wedding. We take pride in the fact that we are very relational and want our couples to feel comfortable and at ease with us. We do this by giving each and everyone of our couples an Engagement Session included in all of our collections. We feel like this really helps our couples get to know us as well as ease any awkwardness and tension that getting your photos taken can cause. Our couples know our shooting style and are confident in us the day of the wedding because they have shot with us prior...so when we walk in on the wedding day we are more like old friends than just someone they hired. We also take all of our couples to dinner twice before their wedding day to just get to know them better and ensure their experience with us is fun, engaging and something they can't help but share with their friends!
What is your favorite part about your job?
Capturing memories that couples can cherish for the rest of their life. We absolutely LOVE our job and sometimes feel like we need to pinch ourselves that we are so blessed to be able to share in one of the biggest days of peoples lives. You couldn't ask for a happier, beautiful, and more magical moment then when two people become one and begin their lives together forever. What don't we love is the better question!
Where is your favorite place to relax and be inspired?
Now this is funny because Nathan and I are totally opposite on this one...
Mine would be at a photography networking event or reading other industry blogs from those in the business, looking at their recent work and being inspired by other artists in our field. I love being around others and seeing others fulfilling their calling and that inspires me to keep on doing what we are doing and strive to be the best in our field.
Nathan would say his is when he alone. He is way more introverted and is inspired by art, nature and LOVES to travel and see the world. So being outside hiking or traveling the world is where he finds inspiration the most.
What do you love when you are not documenting these special events?
Spending time with our two little ones! We have two toddlers, Ezekiel (2 1/2) and Ella (1 1/2) and we spend every second, when we aren't working, with them! We love Indianapolis and all it has to offer. We visit the Zoo, Children's Museum, Indian's games, and play outside in parks all summer! We also really enjoy our friends and extended family and are involved in our church and mission ministries.
