Summer Event Intern 2014

Hello all! I'm Leslie and I am the new intern here at Boldly Chic Events this summer. I'm a Senior at Purdue University studying Hospitality and Tourism Management, minoring in Organizational Leadership and Supervision with a concentration in Human Resources.  I've always been one for being organized and concentrating on details.  What a better industry to be in than planning events and weddings! I'm overjoyed to begin work here at BCE and experience so many new things! Here is a little more about me...

What is your favorite thing about being a guest at a wedding?

While everyone else watches the bride walk down the aisle, I love watching the father of the bride escorting is little girl down the aisle to soon be married to her best friend.  Nothing surpasses the emotions he has and how overjoyed he is to be by her side.  

Spring, Winter, Summer or Fall?

Summer, nothing beats being by any type of water whether the beach, pool, or lake on a beautiful sunny day!

Where is your favorite place to indulge in delicious food and drink?

Poblanos is by far my favorite place to go for drinks and a delicious meal! Chips and salsa and a strawberry margarita solves all life's problems after a stressful day. 

Describe yourself in three words, no more no less.

Organized. Spunky. Colorful.

I am most looking forward to…experiencing first hand day to day duties of a planner, how to become a successful planner, and developing a greater knowledge in planning as a whole. 

My favorite color scheme is...An array of corals and blues with shades of nude accents.
